The Dune Ratz are one of the 5 teams in The World Race and are led by Brian Kadeem. They are experts at racing in off-road, but especially in desert conditions. Their team motto is that they "ride the wind." Unlike the Road Beasts however, they lack tools to clear debris.

Description[]
The Dune Ratz' theme colors are white, tan, and grey and all cars are equipped with specialized parachutes and spiked tires as a special ability to help keep traction in sand and other off-road surfaces. Kadeem's Dune Ratz parachute came in handy in the first Acceleracer's movie, nearly allowing him to be saved by Vert Wheeler.

- In the beginning of World Race, when Dr. Tesla ins introducing the team's abilities, he mistakenly refers to the Dune Ratz cars as "Desert Ratz."
- The Dune Ratz are the most ethnically diverse team, with only two teammates potentially sharing the same nationality (assuming Toni is American).
