Hot Wheels is a toy brand under Mattel, specializing in die-cast cars and toysets.
Hot Wheels is also behind the multi-media franchises World Race, Acceleracers and Battle Force 5.

Mattel tried with Legendary Pictures and director Justin Lin to produce a live-action Hot Wheels movie, but the rights went back to market.[1]
In January 2019, Mattel announced that they would be working with Warner Bros. to make another live-action Hot Wheels film project.
