The Racing Drone Jet was a fast plane, Reconnacence, and Interceptor aircraft used by the Racing Drones. Gelorum built these jets to supplement her Racing Drones fleet. Piloted by a single RD-S1, these planes feature dual, forward-mounted energy cannons, a search light, a light tractor beam and hover capabilities.
History[]
Ignition[]
The Jet (and or Interceptor) is first seen firing energy blasts at Dr. Tesla's Nitrium to stop him from obtaining the Wheel of Power. They succeed in capturing the wheel. After Tesla's crash, multiple Jets and RD-06's equipped with spotlights scour the ruins along with RD-08 to look for Tesla. After the Drones turn Hot Wheels City into their new Headquarters, Gelorum begins mass producing the aircraft to support the Drones effort in winning the realms. Multiple Drone Jets are briefly seen during the opening of the Swamp Realm along with RD-08 and multiple RD-06's.
The aircraft are then used to provide some air support to assist RD-L1 and his drone forces in attacking the drivers in the Swamp Realm. A jet is seen flying across a lake hunting for the human drivers. A Jet is later seen assisting 2 RD-06's pursuing Nolo Pasaro's Synkro. After a swamp realm mosquito causes some damage to his car, Nolo turns up the music and the vibration of the beats causes the mosquito to let go of his car and crash directly into the jet. The 2nd Jet, pursuing Jackhammer is unaware that Porkchop and Monkey have a "anchor chain" and after Porkchop throws it at the jet causes it to loose control and crash into the swamp. Another Jet is shown with a RD-06 pursuing Mark Wylde's Spine Buster a swamp creature appears in front of Wylde causing him to veer off the track. The Monster then grabs the unaware Jet and slams it into the accompanying RD-06, destroying both vehicles.
Cavern Realm[]
One Jet is briefly shown in the Cavern Realm dodging stalagmites in the cave before it is destroyed. This is the last time they appeared in the Racing Realms.

Trivia:[]
- The Racing Drone Jet is not shown in the realms after the Cavern Realm. This is possibly due to 3 reasons. 1.the Jets ineffectiveness against the human drivers. 2. The Drone Sweepers were being built into mass production. Or 3. Their pilots were reprogrammed by ether Gelorum, RD-L1, or RD-K1 (Brian Kadeem) to serve as security for the captured drivers in their HQ.
