The Right Choice is a comic that comes with the Deora II die-cast toy that focuses on Vert Wheeler. Its the first comic out of all the other 35 comics. It takes place in the first leg.

Vert complains about Kurt Wylde taking the lead because he didn't help Lani Tam when a volcano erupted. Then the story takes place in Tezla's lab, offering Vert a chance to compete in the world race. The story laters goes back to the part where they're racing. When Vert comes out of the portal he finds Kurt and makes fun of him when he finds him splat with mud.
